I was just discovering the details of this school of thought these days. It is more and more obvious to those ones of us that are concerned about their individual freedoms and rights that our current society is heavily degraded and on a steep downhill direction. I started doing research on anarchism over the web in a quest to discover if there are others "out there" that share my total rebellious attitude towards our modern day society and government. As you may well know, I enjoy spending my free time playing computer games and watching movies. In our time, computer games are probably the most advanced form of entertainment derived upon the classic media entertainment. I was just reading an article about more abusive laws being passed in Australia that enforce censorship upon games that are rated by "some" as "inappropriate". I realized that this is a phenomenon that has been spreading excessively in many countries of the world over the past twenty years. It seams as the more advanced our means of communication become, and as more available the information is, there are always "some" that think they know what's better for all the "others" and start deciding what "others" are or are not allowed to experience. We have government organizations that decide what TV networks are allowed or not allowed to say and do on TV, we have government organizations that decide what games we are or what we are not allowed to play, the only reason we do not yet have an organization to tell us what websites we are or are not allowed to view is that, fortunately for us, the world wide web is just that, world wide, and our beloved governments still cannot agree on who should be running "the show". I don't know about you but this situation is really getting on my nerves, I'm neither a baby nor mentally retarded nor am I a property of my government in order for "them" to tell me what I can view, read, play or do nor when and how to do it. I do not give a damn about their laws, regulations, organizations or about "them" in general and I am sure there are millions if not billions of other people that feel the same way I do. I know that millions have died in the second world war fighting to prevent a mad man from raising into total domination over the world, to preserve our freedoms. Not even a lifetime has passed since that global tragedy and here we are being subjugated by our own governments, by the very own people that are meant to guarantee over our rights, and that are funded from our own money, our own hard work. Think about it, regardless of what country you live in, probably more than 35% of your monthly income goes on taxes, either if it's taxes applied directly to your profit, or taxes applied to the producers of the products and services you buy. Let's say you work 20 days per month, that's 7 days of work that you do in service of your government. You spend at least seven days of work, that's almost a week and a half, each month of your life, working in service of your government, so that your government can decide what you are allowed to read, view and play on your TV or computer, which you bought with the money you made in the other 13 days of work done in that month. I'm not even going to go into the aspects of corruption, fraud and the billions of dollars that are "routed" into the "happy" pockets of many of our so called "guardians". Surely there is much more that the government does, it takes care of the country's infrastructure, it provides health care, it enforces law and order, it protects the integrity of the state. Really!? Since when is health care free!? How about I don't pay any taxes, how about I don't have to pay 20% more money for a product or service just to cover the taxes which that producer has to pay to the state, how about we all keep the fruits of our own work for ourselves and our families and if and when someone ever gets sick we'll have plenty of money to pay for the medical services. How about we all disband our armies entirely since the only actual property that needs protection is the individual property and that's what the police is for, oh and you know what if there will be no more armies we won't have any more wars either, how about that. How about we make our local city authorities private and we pay them for their services, would not that make them actually care about the state of the municipal roads, pipes, law enforcement? Oh yes it will, how do you think your mayor will answer to you if he knew he will get fired by the board of stockholders if he does not make a profit, thus, he does not make the customer, which is you, happy. How do you think a policeman/policewoman will talk and handle you if he knew he could get fired the next day because of customer complaints. There's a big difference in paying taxes and letting "some" do whatever they please with all the fat "loot" and paying individual companies for services rendered. Surely there's a lot to discuss about private companies and their services too, but the one thing that makes companies different from the state is that the state has no rivals to compete against, meaning the state doesn't really care if the "customer" is happy or not with its services. Getting to the point... You see, we are living in a society that induces us with the sentiment of well being, we are born and raised in a society that appears to us as "the right way", the correct thing. Strong democratic countries were eagerly condemning the totalitarian regimes like Soviet Russia in the past. They were accusing them of oppressing their people and inducing their people, through concentrated propaganda, in a state of false well being. We all think we are free, but in fact, same as the oppressed people of Soviet Russia, we are being brainwashed since birth into thinking that we are free and well, when we are actually not. Any smart man knows that the way of brute force is never better than the way of cunning. That's why our species evolved, that's what puts us above animals, the fact that we are able to solve problems through our wits not our fists. And that's what our modern day society has evolved into mastering. Monarchy failed because it was enforced. Totalitarian communism failed because it was enforced. Democracy ultimately succeeded because it tricked people into thinking that's what they wanted. And we've been only getting dumber and dumber since then while our nice society is getting more and more degraded and restrictive with our individual freedoms. It is nobody's fault that we are in this terrible situation today, no one individual has generated this situation. We all did our tiny part and now here we are. Every four or five years we get all excited and we go vote who is going to "lead us into salvation" for the next mandate. Going voting makes us feel in control. Really!? What exactly do you control? Can you run for president, or even for a government position, or even mayor of your own town? Can you? "Well technically I'm free to do so, I can run for any position I want any time I want." Really!? In order for people to vote you, you must be "marketed" same as any other product. You can be Jesus Christ Himself, if people don't know about you, there's no chance they'll vote for you. So you see, in reality, not anyone has a chance to get in a position where he would actually be of importance to the government and be able to help his country and people, not unless he dedicates his entire life and fortune to that goal. Democracy is great when it's applied on small scale, when you and your friends get together and discuss electing one of you to represent your group, democracy provides the best solution, we all know each other, you know each other's abilities, qualities and defects, you can make an informed decision and pick out the best one suited for the job, and since the job is tiny and that person is a friend of yours, he is not likely to deceive you. In reality, we are not voting "anyone", we are actually choosing between the very very few that are "proposed" to us, and they don't give a damn about us, they have their own interests and their group's interests to follow. We have been on this cycle for decades and the more we stay on this path the faster and longer we'll fall. I was surprized to see that there were many other really smart people in the past that spend their lives contemplating those ideologies. It is now clear to me that the only possible way to fix this great error is to wake up and take our freedom back by peaceful force. And by peaceful force I don't mean starting to club other in the head, but by taking up a position and forcefully stading by it. We need to get back the freedom to decide for ourselves and do whatever we want, when we want it, as we want it, in harmony with other people, without any "higher" authority constantly crushing our own free will and thus destroying our free spirit. Individual freedom is what defines the human spirit, it is that which allows each individual to dare try pursuing his or her dreams and aspirations. Our current society is beating on that very element that powered the entire human evolution, and it's doing a hell of a job taring it to pieces. Each generation is born under a degraded and restrictive society only to grow older and generate even more restrictions as measure of preventing further degradation. It is the irresistible force versus the immovable object paradox, where the irresisitble force is the human desire for absolute freedom and the immovable object is the government that restricts those freedoms. The more people are restricted by laws, the more they will brake those laws, the more people brake laws, the harder the punishments will get and the more laws we'll get. It doesn't take a genious to realize that ultimately we will end up with a society where there is a law for absolutely every single possible thing, which will split the population into two groups, the mindless human "robots" that faithfully follow everything that they are being told, not because they want to, but because they are too dumb to think for themselves, and the "outlaws" that brake all laws and that will be imprisoned and hunted down to extinction thus estinquishing the only few remaining mentally healthy members of the human race. Who will remain "in charge" to run the operation? Most likely a couple of pseudo-intelligent AI programs that will eventually "run out of batteries" since there will be no more people to do maintenance work, not to mention carry on improving their programming. Is that so SCI-FI it's unbelieveable? I'm not an alarmist, I'm just a passive observer turned active due to frustration as live witness to the perfect shroud of idiocy that's slowly and surely dumbing the human race into oblivion. What's the purpose of this article? To hopefully light a spark in your soul and determine you to reach out for more than it is given to you by society and your government. It only takes a spark to cause a wildfire. The world needs a wildfire of enlightenment to wake people up to the fact that their individual freedom and true human spirit is being sucked out of them generation by generation by a faulty system of our own making. The internet is the best tool we have to achieve enlightenment, truly you can find other things on it besides porn and retarded schemes on how to get rich fast and get scammed trying to do so. Here's what I want you to do: Read this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Individualist_anarchists and this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anarchism no it's not a joke, many other people much smarter than you and I have debated on those issues for decades, don't pass on the opportunity on making yourself less dumb. It's not a sin to be dumb, it's a sin being dumb and not trying to get smarter. Then for some dramatic but cute entertainment, seek out this movie and watch it: Idiocracy Ok that's enough, now go spread the fire of knowledge, hopefully in a more entertaining and captivating way than I have with this article. |
